From Girl to Woman - Ideas and Choices is a comprehensive suite of augmentative and alternative communication aids to support young women with disabilities as they develop. They were designed by David Beal and Jane Manderson for Wyn Fletcher, Wesley Mission Brisbane (WMB). David and Jane worked alongside young women with disabilities, their families and relevant professionals.
The package address a range of senstive and complex issues in a safe and easy to understand way.
Davids role on the WMB board of management was his first introduction to complex organisational structure. As traditional church board of management presenting concepts such as period managment and ejaculation, required signficant stakeholder managment.
